Psychiatric Evaluations
A psychiatric evaluation is often the first step in care, but it is less about being “evaluated” and more about being understood.
At ReBridge Psych, the first appointment is designed to explore what has been bringing you in, what has been changing, and what kind of support may help you move forward.
What is a Psychiatric Evaluation?
-
A psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive first appointment used to better understand your symptoms, history, goals, stressors, strengths, and current concerns.
This visit helps create a thoughtful foundation for care. It may include discussion of mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, medical history, medications, family history, life experiences, safety, and previous treatment.
The goal is not to reduce your experience to a diagnosis. The goal is to understand the whole picture and begin building a treatment plan that fits your needs.
-
Adult psychiatric evaluations are 60 minutes and are available for patients located in Florida.
This appointment may be appropriate if you are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, attention concerns, life transitions, caregiver stress, or feeling unlike yourself.
Fee: $325
Self-pay adult evaluations include one complimentary 15-minute post-evaluation check-in within 14 days.
-
Adolescent psychiatric evaluations are available for ages 15–17 and may last up to 90 minutes.
Care may include time with the adolescent and caregiver together, as well as time with the adolescent individually when appropriate. This helps create space for both family context and the adolescent’s own voice in care.
Fee: $375
Self-pay adolescent evaluations include one complimentary 15-minute post-evaluation check-in within 14 days.
After the Evaluation
After the evaluation, recommendations may include medication management, labs when clinically indicated, supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle considerations, referrals, care coordination, or a combination of approaches.
If ongoing care with ReBridge Psych is a good fit, follow-up appointments will focus on monitoring progress, adjusting treatment thoughtfully, and supporting meaningful change over time.
If another level of care or outside support is recommended, that will be discussed openly and thoughtfully.
Ready to Begin?
You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. The evaluation is a place to begin understanding what has been happening and what support may help.
