Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable and come with a lot of questions. Here are a few places to start.

Commonly Asked Questions

How do I know when it’s time to reach out?

1

You do not need to wait until things feel unmanageable. Many people seek support when they notice they are feeling unlike themselves. We can start with where you are and decide together what support may be helpful.

Will treatment automatically mean medication?

2

Not necessarily. Treatment is individualized and recommendations may include medication, supportive therapy, lifestyle strategies, referrals, or a combination of approaches. Sometimes that means simply creating space to better understand what is contributing to how you feel.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

3

Your first appointment is often called a psychiatric evaluation, but it is less about being “evaluated” and more about getting to know you and understanding what has brought you in.

Are appointments virtual?

4

Appointments are currently offered through secure telehealth for patients located in Florida. In-person services are selective and limited to the south Florida area, Broward/West Palm Beach.

Whenever You’re Ready

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Thoughtful care can be a meaningful investment in your wellbeing at any stage.
